Red dragon fruit

Bright skin and sweet pulp; an Ecuadorian export benchmark.

Red dragon fruit (Hylocereus costaricensis) is grown in Loja and Imbabura provinces. Its magenta pulp is sweet with edible antioxidant-rich seeds. Exported in premium 8–12 count boxes with controlled ripening for maximum shelf life at destination.

Wash with potable water, peel or cut per export grade. Process within 24–48 h for best quality.
