Feijoa

Feijoa (Acca sellowiana) grows in the temperate valleys of the Ecuadorian highlands. Its white gelatinous pulp with pineapple and mint flavor is prized in desserts, ice cream, and beverages. Exported firm with chamber-controlled ripening. Gourmet market in Europe and Asia with sustained growth.
