Crimini mushroom

Brown Agaricus variety; earthy flavor for retail and foodservice.

Ecuadorian crimini (Agaricus bisporus var. brown) is grown in climate-controlled greenhouses and harvested at closed-button stage. Uniform brown caps, firm white flesh, and more intense flavor than white button mushrooms. Exported in 250–500 g trays or bulk for international industry and restaurants.

Ideal for

Brush clean or wipe with a damp cloth. Cook over high heat until firm; avoid prolonged boiling.
