Andean blackberry

Cultivated wild berry; ideal for pulps, jams, and juices.

Andean blackberry (Rubus glaucus) is a deep black berry with acidic notes, highly prized in juices, nectars, and confectionery. Ecuador is one of the main Andean producers. Exported fresh in short season or as IQF frozen pulp year-round. High anthocyanin and vitamin C content.

0–4 °C, 90–95% RH. Do not wash before refrigeration; use or process within 5–10 days.

Wash gently only before consumption; remove stems if needed. Ideal for immediate IQF after sorting.
